Our Upcoming Ladies’ Event
Clothed In Righteousness
Emily Owen is an award-winning author and speaker, with several books to her name. She was diagnosed with the neurological condition NF2-Schwannomatosis (NF2), eventually losing her hearing overnight, aged 21. Emily knows what it is to be broken, and she knows what it is to meet God there.
We are honoured to have her share her story as we look at different aspects of our theme - Clothed in Righteousness.
During the afternoon there will be different small seminars to choose from -
When Life Hurts - Emily Owen
Developing a Life of Prayer - Rosemary Saunders
Learning in Motherhood - Vicky Barlow
Cost for the event is £10, This includes lunch consisting of soup and a charcuterie board
Our Mid-week Bible study
Favoured
Our current study takes us through the book of Esther, looking at how an unseen God weaves together the threads of an orphan's life into a beautiful tapestry of redemption.
About our Women’s Ministry
To cultivate knowledge, fellowship, and a deeper desire for God.
We meet every two weeks to study the word of God, to reflect upon Biblical truths, and to encourage personal interaction and prayer for one another. Our regular Bible studies are taught by gifted teachers from our congregation with the occasional guest speaker. Each series is accompanied with an optional ‘Study Journal’ written by and for the ladies at Calvary Mansfield. Our Studies can also be done online as each teaching can be found on our YouTube channel.
Our ladies’ ministry runs from September - December and January - June.

We also host two yearly events, a One-Day Conference in May and a Christmas Afternoon Tea in December.
